KLEIBERIT 761.6 is a professional cleaning compound for systems processing PUR hot-melt adhesives.<\/strong> It combines flushing and intensive cleaning action and helps remove unreacted, cured and burnt PUR hot-melt adhesive.<\/p>\n

\n

Processing temperature: 150-160 \u00b0C.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For effective cleaning, fully melt KLEIBERIT 761.6 at approximately 150 \u00b0C<\/strong>. Heat the tank, hoses and all other components being cleaned to the same temperature. Do not keep the product above the recommended temperature: prolonged overheating may generate harmful decomposition products. Use suitable extraction to remove vapours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    How to use<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Remove as much residual PUR hot-melt adhesive as possible. Follow all safety rules applicable to PUR hot melts.<\/li>\n
    2. Disconnect application units from the feed hose. Position the free hose end pointing upward over a suitable metal collection container.<\/li>\n
    3. Installing new filters before cleaning is recommended; replace them with new filters again after cleaning.<\/li>\n
    4. Add the required quantity of KLEIBERIT 761.6. Melt it completely at about 150 \u00b0C and heat the components to be cleaned to the same temperature.<\/li>\n
    5. Run the pump until the blue cleaner appears at the free hose end, then stop pumping and allow it to work for about 30 minutes.<\/li>\n
    6. Lower the hose into the container and run the pump at medium speed for 5-10 seconds. Stop again for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n
    7. Repeat according to the level of contamination. For equipment not cleaned for a long time, the cleaner may remain in the system for several hours with all normal safety precautions in place.<\/li>\n
    8. When the discharged melt contains no more particles, reconnect the nozzle and clean it in the same way.<\/li>\n
    9. Pump the cleaner completely out. When restarting, feed fresh PUR adhesive until no blue colour remains visible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
