Фреза (левая или правая), напаянная пластинами твердого сплава ВК8 предназначены для обработки профильных поверхностей филенок мебельных фасадов, дверей и стенных панелей из древесины средних и мягких пород на фрезерных станках. Пластины из ВК8 преимущественно используются при обработке мягких и твердых пород древесины (хвойные: ель, сосна; а также дуб и ясень. Фреза для филенки затачивается на оптико-заточных станках, чем достигается абсолютная точность обработки всеми зубьями фрез.
