Sharpening surfaces
HSS cutters and cutters with brazed carbide cutting edges that have straight cutting edges are sharpened on both the rake and clearance faces. For curved-profile cutting edges, sharpening is performed on the rake face. On cutters with removable carbide knives, the knives are removed from the cutter body and sharpened separately.
Equipment
Sharpening is performed on universal tool grinders using the necessary fixtures for correct clamping and positioning of the tool and preservation of its working geometry.

The standard turnaround time is up to 24 hours from receipt of the tool.
