Brush sanding machine MSPU-4 with tilting table
26 000.00 MDL
The brush sanding machine MSPU-4 features a -90° / 0° / +90° tilting table and variable spindle speed for sanding, structuring, cleaning and polishing wood, metal, plastics and composites.
The brush sanding machine MSPU-4 is a versatile machine for processing flat, profiled, curved and angled workpieces. Different sanding brushes, abrasive tools and polishing wheels can be fitted to perform several operations on one machine.
MSPU-4 is suitable for joinery and furniture workshops, as well as for manufacturing doors, stairs, furniture fronts, decorative panels and interior components. With the appropriate tooling, the machine can also process metal, plastic and composite parts.
Tilting worktable
The main feature of the MSPU-4 is its adjustable worktable with a tilting range of -90° / 0° / +90°. The table can be positioned horizontally, vertically or at any intermediate angle.
This design makes it easier to process:
- flat surfaces;
- ends and side edges;
- bevelled components;
- angled and profiled parts;
- curved workpieces;
- parts with complex shapes.
The adjustable table allows the operator to position the workpiece correctly in relation to the rotating brush. This improves control and helps maintain the required processing angle.
Variable spindle speed
The machine is equipped with a variable-frequency drive — VFD/inverter for stepless spindle-speed adjustment. The operator can select the appropriate speed according to the material, workpiece shape, brush type and required finish.
Low speeds are suitable for delicate cleaning, intermediate sanding and polishing. Higher speeds increase sanding intensity and productivity. Variable-speed control is particularly important when switching between abrasive, nylon, wire and polishing brushes.
Brush sanding machine MSPU-4 – applications
Woodworking
With suitable tooling, MSPU-4 can perform:
- sanding of solid wood, MDF, plywood and veneer;
- sanding of flat and profiled furniture components;
- edge smoothing and removal of raised fibres;
- intermediate sanding of primers, stains, sealers and coatings;
- surface preparation before painting, lacquering or oiling;
- wood structuring and wire brushing;
- production of distressed and aged wood effects;
- opening the wood pores and highlighting the natural grain;
- polishing of waxed and oiled surfaces.
Steel or brass brushes are suitable for pronounced structuring of hardwood. Abrasive nylon can be used for softwood and fine finishing. Tampico and other soft-fibre brushes are suitable for cleaning and polishing.
Metalworking
With the correct brush or abrasive tool, MSPU-4 can process carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.
Possible operations include:
- removal of rust, mill scale and old paint;
- cleaning of metal surfaces;
- deburring after cutting, drilling or milling;
- smoothing and controlled rounding of sharp edges;
- cleaning of welding areas;
- removal of heat tint;
- blending and finishing of weld seams;
- removal of oxide after laser or plasma cutting;
- matting and satin finishing;
- preparation for priming, painting or powder coating;
- preliminary surface preparation before polishing.
Dedicated stainless-steel wire brushes or suitable abrasive nylon should be used for stainless steel. A carbon-steel brush may contaminate the surface and cause rust spots.
Plastics and composites
By selecting the correct brush and spindle speed, MSPU-4 can also be used for:
- removal of flash and small burrs;
- smoothing the edges of plastic parts;
- surface matting;
- preparation before painting;
- improving adhesion before applying primer or adhesive;
- processing fibreglass and other composite materials.
Processing fibreglass or carbon fibre requires efficient dust extraction and suitable personal protective equipment.
Compatible tooling
Depending on the application, the machine can accept:
- abrasive flap brushes;
- modular brush-sanding systems;
- abrasive nylon brushes;
- steel and brass wire brushes;
- stainless-steel wire brushes;
- Tampico and other natural-fibre brushes;
- soft nylon brushes;
- cloth and polishing wheels;
- tools for deburring and edge finishing.
The brush dimensions, bore, material and operating speed must match the spindle parameters and intended application.
